*NASW-FL's Miami-Dade Unit presents "Caring In Silence: Latinx Families & Alzheimer's Caregiving" presented by Dr. Michael Alicea, Board President. The scheduled time is: 6:00 pm — 8:00 pm (ET).
Join us for a powerful and culturally informed community presentation designed to raise awareness about the unique challenges Latinx families face when caring for loved ones living with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. Drawing from current research, cultural values such as familismo, and real-world caregiving experiences, this workshop highlights the emotional, spiritual, and practical responsibilities that often fall on Latinx caregivers.
